Sushi le Artistes

SUSHI DES ARTISTES- London

Wait for it, wait for it....I found THE best sushi IN. THE. WORLD. right here in London! Granted, it's a little fancy and granted it's parked in a neighborhood where everyone owns a Range Rover, BMW or Lambo and proceed to park them on the streets, ( :O )  but this sushi was literally too beautiful to eat! The inside had a little French flair mixed with a little...American love circus (top hat lamps) ? Elements of identity I found here were "Class", "Race/Ethnicity/National Origin", and "Artistic Expression".  National origin is clearly Japanese, but it has a cultural fusion in the French name, Sushi le Artistes", and also in the dessert (pictured below) of meringues.  Class is obvious the minute you see the place and where it is located. It clearly relies on the deep pockets and need to be pampered of the neighboring tenants of Chelsea.  Last but not least, the decor and all the food in this place is marinated in artistic expression.

Take a moment to cast your eyes down to the breathtaking photos of lovely fish carcass and flowers. ;P

The sashimi was so fresh it literally melted in my mouth, And yes, those are GRAPES that the chef has taken the time to CUT in HALF (whaaaaat?) Talk about attention to details of details!  The best dish was definitely the one pictured here to your left.  Not sure exactly the name but the pink one is salmon and the brown one is marinated eel. Heaven in my mouth.
As if the most delicious and delicate sushi I've ever experienced wasn't good enough, our waiter was so gracious and attentive he created a hot sauce just for me since they didn't have any on hand (for those of you who know how imperative hot sauce is to my meals), as well as treated us to free sake, free plum wine, AND a free dessert plate!  I do not have enough adjectives in my vocabulary, nor access to sufficient emoji faces, so I'm just going to tell you to imaging the best sushi you've had and then multiply it by 10...unless you're Seth Hodges and got to eat sushi from the "best sushi chef in the world"...

To the right is an image of our free dessert, colorful and light little meringues with fruit, some sort of cream, and little candies that look like friend eggs but obviously are not (and yes, I forgot the words for all of them).

One more thing...
